Most all of us are hopefully familiar with the fact that Christ must come first; that Christianity is an all or nothing commitment; and that even the most beloved family members must come second. And while we (HOPEFULLY) teach prospective new converts to thus “count the cost” and consider the commitment, there seems to be an extremely widewspread epidemic in our brotherhood today concerning seasoned Christians who have always accepted, taught, and exemplified the truths of Scripture… right up to the point of when it suddenly directly, personally affects either themselves, or tgheir closest family members or friends. All of the sudden, what the Scripture has said in black-and-white since they became Christians – and indeed, since the day it was written – all of the sudden, seems to change to shades self-justifying and irrelevent gray… See for yourself both how this can happen, how powerful and widespread this temptation is and has always been, and how to combat this satanic and soul-sacrificing mindset… 71 8 29 10 AM – Truth Doesn’t Change Just Because It Suddenly Hits Too Close To Home
